So its not a real, from the factory Primera. But the Infiniti G20 IS the Primera with just a diferent hood and thats pretty much it. So this is how we converted our G20 into a JDM style Primera Camino:
2000 Nissan Primera Camino (Infiniti G20t)
Drivetrain: 2.0L SR20DE+T, 5 speed manual w/ factory LSD (G20t tranny)
Drivetrain mods: S13 T25 turbo, U13 turbo manifold, 2g DSM wastegate, Weapon R air filter, CX Racing intercooler, custome Zankoku Performance IC piping and downpipe, MAF setup for blow thru instead of draw thru, Blox vacuum manifold, NGK plug wires, NITRO iridium spark plugs, Blitz BOV, AEM FIC, nameless Stage 3 unsprung 6 puck clutch, generic front strut tower bar
Suspension mods: Zankoku Performance STEALTH ATTACK X1 coilovers, Enkei RS6 wheels
Exterior: "Lada Silver" paint, SEAT Leon Cupra front lip, NRG 57" carbon rear wing, ZP custom carbon fiber door pillar trim, JDM Nissan Primera hood & JDM Nissan Primera badges, black housing G20 Sport headlights and sidemarkers, DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, Halo ISIS blue fog lights, PIAA LED side markers
Interior: AEM wideband, VDO boost gauge, Apexi turbo timer, custom silver carbon fiber dash trim, custom carbon fiber gauge panel, Pioneer stereo deck, Momo carbon fiber shift knob
So this is how the car started out as:
Then we did wheels and got the black headlights
156K miles at this point and internals look like new- GO ENEOS OIL!
Weapon R intake installed
Cold air tube ran like stock and even managed to integrate the factory IAT sensor
Just some pics chillin at the old shop
Seat Cupra lip installed
This is the car the lip came off of- Seat Leon Cupra
The PIAA LED side markers
Lighting pics- not so good in photos, i shouldnt even put these up
JVT 2.5" downpipe header
Now for how we made the carbon fiber door pillars
Carbon center console trim and MOMO carbon shift knob
PX Racing show in Sacramento, after adding NRG carbon wing and new vinyls. Still sitting on Eibach springs and KYB shocks at this point
Test fitting the new Primera hood just picked up from Venus in Sac
Late night oil change, only using the best- ENEOS
Turbo is now planned- installing things here and there that we will need for the turbo. Put in the AEM wideband here
CX intercooler, Bluebird turbo manifold, and the Supras former Blitz BOV
Beginning the "more complicated than it really needs to be" boost gauge installation
Here's the turbo- S13 T25 w/ a DSM wastegate to fit the G20's FWD SR20 properly
Apexi timer
Back from paint, with the front bumper trimmed, now its time for the intercooler
Fresh new Lada Silver paint and intercooler
NorCal Imports show in Pleasanton with the Primera conversion now
Finally, time for the best suspension in the world! ZANKOKU STEALTH ATTACK COILOVERS!
And yes, it CAN go lower still, probably about another 4" front this point, but like you would ever use that
Silver carbon dash trim installed
Now we begin with the turbo
Headers off
Block drilled and tapped for 1/2" return line
Turbo bolted on and oil return & supply lines ran
T25 coolant lines ran
Running the IC pipes
fits and looks almost like stock!
Intake hooked up to turbo
IC hotpipe, this one is allowing us to retain A/C
Blitz BOV on pipe
BOV tucked in the wheel well to not draw unwanted attention under the hood
Blox vacuum manifold for BOV signal, wastegate, boost gauge, FIC, etc...
ECU harness pulled out to wire in the AEM FIC
Now we need new spark to handle the boost. OEM FWD SR20 plugs are very weak, so we'll put in some NITRO Iridium plugs
And replace our 188K mile plug wires with some new NGKs
All done here
